Kelly Clarkson is ready to play matchmaker for her toddler son! The singer says she's hoping 3-year-old Remington will ultimately wind up with her fellow The Voice coach John Legend's 3-year-old daughter Luna.

Clarkson tells Entertaiment Tonight she once confessed to Legend's wife, actress Chrissy Teigen, that she's rooting for the two youngsters to wind up together. "They would make the most beautiful babies," Clarkson says.

More than that, though, Remington and Luna can find common family ground, since they both have famous parents. "I think it's fun just to have other kids that kinda grow up in [that kind of] environment ... it's not normal," she adds. "You know, it's not like an everyday scenario, like how we all grew up, so I like that they at least get people to hang out with every once in a while ... with the same kinda vibe to where they don't feel weird."

Clarkson's never one to not speak her mind, but she admits that her mini-matchmaking might have come across a bit strange: "They probably think I'm weird," the singer says of Legend and Teigen's response. "Definitely they probably think I'm weird."

Clarkson and her husband, Brandon Blackstock, have a 4-year-old daughter, River Rose, in addition to Remington; Clarkson is also the stepmother of Blackstock's two older children from a previous marriage. Legend and Teigen, meanwhile, have another child, too: their 11-month-old son Miles.

All of Clarkson and Legend's children will have more time to get to know each other coming up: Both artists are both booked to return as coaches for The Voice's 17th season. The TV singing competition's 16th season concluded on Tuesday (May 21).
