I'm confident that I'm probably the last person on earth to hear about this trend since I avoid TikTok like the plague, but in case others like myself live under a rock, please allow me to bring it to light for you.
There is a funny trend making the rounds on the app where guys call their friends for the sole purpose of wishing them goodnight and recording their reactions. It's harmless fun and endlessly entertaining. It's hilarious to watch these men struggle to understand why their buddy is calling them to say goodnight. Even celebrity buddies are getting in on the action. For instance, here is former NFL star Akbar Gbaja-Biamila pranking movie star Jerry O'Connell:
