We'll admit it. There are some towns in Texas with names that could be confusing. Still, we all know what they are supposed to be.

Obviously Waxahachie isn't pronounced like the stuff in your ear, Iraan isn't the same as that middle-eastern place, and Bowie sounds a lot more like a thing that floats in water than the way you'd tie a ribbon.

So what happens when we take a list of Texas town names and send them off to people from New York City? We asked some coworkers from our corporate offices in New York to try their tongues at saying some Texas town names.

Will they realize that Boerne sounds more like a presidential candidate than an action movie or that Gruene sounds like a color? The results will definitely leave you laughing.
