Purse Thief in Texas Loses Pants During Robbery

I'll never understand the appeal of sagging one's pants. It is so impractical. I won't even wear flip-flops in public because I always want to be ready to run, fight, or do whatever athletic activity I might find myself in.

But the rascal in the video at the bottom of this article has no such hang-ups. Police in Houston, Texas, are asking for help to find a man who stole a woman’s purse and had a bit of a pants problem while doing it.

As the video opens, we see a man get out of a red car and creep over to another vehicle, all while his pants are down to his knees. He opens the door and just yanks the purse from the woman sitting in the car. She must have been terrified! Or not, who knows, the sight of his stupid sagging pants might have broken the tension a little.

Look, even though this might sound a little funny, police say it’s still a serious crime. The woman was scared, and even though she didn’t get badly hurt, she did lose her purse. That’s why the Houston Police Department released the video and asked people to watch it. They’re hoping someone might recognize the man and call in with tips.
