Usually, this kind of storm happens in spring, but this twister didn’t care about the calendar. It tore through fields, and knocked down trees, turning a peaceful winter day into total chaos.

Mother Nature Acting Crazy

Tornadoes aren’t strange for Texas, but in December? That’s pretty weird. Weather experts said warm temperatures and unstable air created the perfect conditions for the storm to form. Mother Nature threw the town a big curveball.

Scientists think we might see more of these out-of-nowhere storms because of climate change. “Tornadoes don’t care what time of year it is anymore,” said one meteorologist. “It’s a sign that weather is becoming more unpredictable.”
