Ryan Hurd's "Diamonds or Twine" video tells a sweet love story, and it's a true story. The clip is three minutes and thirty seconds of intimate, behind-the-scenes moments of his relationship with his now-wife, Maren Morris.

"Diamonds or Twine" was a wedding gift to Morris — the couple married on March 24, 2018 — and is essentially Hurd's vows as he promises to always be by her side. The video proves he's a man of his word, showing his affection toward her when they're backstage at shows, in between scenes on the set of Hurd's "Love in a Bar" video, or simply going for a walk in the woods.

"Doesn't matter if it's diamonds or twine / I'll be wrapped around your finger / Girl, you got me 'til we run out of time / Rich or poor, rain or shine," Hurd promises as home videos of the couple holding hands and snuggling play. It's a time capsule of the couple's relationship over the past few years, as we get to see all of Morris' hairstyle changes and clips of their travels across the country before the video ends with a tear-jerking image of the two of them standing at the altar on their wedding day.

Hurd wrote "Diamonds or Twine" before he proposed to the "My Church" singer in July of 2017 in his hometown in Michigan, and worked hard to get a studio version recorded before their 2018 wedding. The couple tied the knot in a Nashville ceremony on March 24, in which Morris wore a beautiful dress custom made by designer Cavanagh Baker that was inspired by her mom's vintage wedding gown.

"You amplify me. You never try to water me down or extinguish my fire to be myself. You just love me. I promise to love you," Morris writes in a heartfelt Facebook post celebrating the couple's first week of marriage.

She has a busy summer ahead — Morris is working on a new album while also prepping to venture out with Niall Horan on his 2018 Flicker Tour.
