If you’ve been waiting for your reason to check out the Museum of North Texas History downtown, here it is. On Tuesday evening, June 18th, The Museum is presenting a free Concert brought to you by the State of Texas and the Letter “W”. Why “W”? Because so many Texas music legends have names that include that letter. We’re talking Charlie Walker, Billy Walker, Don Williams, Gene Watson, Willie, Waylon, and Bob Wills. There are probably more, but these are the artists who’s music will be highlighted by Kenny and Susan Mayo with their band Post Oak in Tuesday night's show.

In addition to a beautiful presentation room where the concert will be held, the Museum of North Texas History is an amazing place to discover more about the stories and legends of this part of the Lone Star State. With an old post office, hundreds of historic cowboy hats, historic military uniforms worn by people from our area, an actual iron lung machine and more, you could spend hours exploring all of their displays in depth.
