Texas Leads Nation in Job Growth Again
We just can't stop winning here. Texas is once again leading the nation in job growth.
According to the latest data, 15.2 million people in Texas have jobs. And over the past year, the state added 198,300 new jobs. That’s almost 200,000 new chances for people to get hired, earn a paycheck, and support their families. Or spending it on crack, it's none of my business what you do with your paycheck.

Experts aren’t surprised. Texas has been growing steadily for years. Businesses keep coming here, people keep moving here, and companies keep hiring. So what’s behind all this growth?
There are a few key reasons. First, Texas is known for being “business-friendly.” That means it has fewer rules and lower taxes for companies, which makes it easier for them to set up shop and hire people.

Second, living in Texas is still more affordable than in many other states, especially in places like California or New York. Also, those states suck. 😎 That means more people are choosing to move to Texas to live and work. And finally, Texas has a very diverse economy. From technology and healthcare to energy, farming, and construction, the state offers a wide range of job opportunities.
Still, there are some problems that come with this kind of rapid growth. With more people working and moving in, things like housing and traffic are becoming big issues. In some places, it’s hard to find an affordable place to live close to where you work.
Selfishly, I'd like the state to stop growing. Seriously, home prices are getting ridiculous. Y'all stay where you are, we're all full up here.
