Texas Man Allegedly Kills His Mother With Fence Post Driver

A 33-year-old Hico, Texas man who lived with his mother reportedly admitted to a relative that he had murdered her.

KXAN reports that Matthew Long allegedly beat his mother with a metal fence post driver.

Authorities are trying to find out a motive. They say Long was unemployed and moved in with his mother, Sharon Long, two months ago.

Hamilton County jail records show that Long is being held on a murder charge with bond set at $500,000.
