As the Orioles have officially won the series this week against the Texas Rangers. Let's take a look back at the history of these two teams.

As many of you know, I grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. When I was a kid, my city only had one professional sports team. The Baltimore Orioles and those 90's teams were STACKED. I have so many fond memories of going to Camden Yards and watching the Birds. As a kid with no football team in Maryland (remember Ravens didn't come til 1996 and the Colts left in 1984) I needed someone to root for.

I hoped on the Cowboys bandwagon and never got off. I adopted the Mavs and Stars as well because once again Maryland didn't have those either. We did have the Bullets when I was a little kid, but have no recollection of them. So all those years living in Maryland, I wanted to move to Texas to watch the Cowboys play. The only time I am home sick is during baseball season.

Last night the Orioles beat the Texas Rangers in extra innings in back to back days. Today, I decided to take a look back at some of the more interesting parts of our two franchises. Considering the fact we're not in the same division you wouldn't think their would be much there.

Some of these I had to look up and others I will remember forever. I will do my best to be unbiased in my ranking. However, my number one moment will piss some of you off.

History of Orioles and Rangers

My top ten moments in Rangers and Orioles history. From my perspective as an Orioles fan.

Here is a list of dogs that love the heat and some of the names will surprise you. Since we have many days of triple digit temperatures here in Wichita Falls, decided to look them up.
