Win a Family Four-Pack of WF Comic Con Tickets and Heff’s Burgers Certificates

We've had  Animania events at the MPEC and a couple of Sci-Fi conventions before the MPEC was even open, but I don't ever recall having an actual Comic Con event in Wichita Falls.

That's all about to change this weekend when the Wichita Falls Comic Con 2021 takes over the MPEC on Saturday and Sunday and we've got tickets to share with you. Listen for the cue to call weekday afternoons and you could win a Family Four-Pack of Comic Con tickets and Four $10 Gift Certificates to Heff's Burgers in Parker Square.

One of the fascinating things about any Comic Convention is the amazing costumes that people create and wear. This event is no different with a costume contest for those 16 and up on Saturday and another for those 15 and under on Sunday. The Saturday contest could bring out some really good costumes because first prize is a whopping $500! First prize on Sunday is $100. Both contests will begin at 3:00 p.m.

There will also be some special guests including Justin Nimmo. He played Zhane in Power Rangers in Space.

Greg Peters, the Emmy-winning animator for shows like Animaniacs and Pinky & The Brain, will also be at this weekend's event in Wichita Falls. He'll be there both days doing caricatures and creating brand new art that any Animaniacs fan will love.

According to the Wichita Falls Comic Con Facebook page, the 'screen used Impala' from the 'Scoobynatural' episode of Supernatural will also be at this show.

The Wichita Falls Comic Con 2021 runs from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 24th and 25th, in the Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall at the MPEC.
