Seeing weird and wacky vehicles driving around in the wild is always fun. In a state as large and diverse as Texas, you can catch all sorts of modded cars and trucks. But the automobile featured in the video at the bottom of this article is truly one of a kind. This unusual vehicle, which we will refer to as the “banana-mobile,” looks exactly like a giant banana with wheels. It’s bright yellow, shaped like fruit, and is somehow street legal. That means it’s allowed to drive on roads just like any other car, even if it looks like it came out of a cartoon.

It is not clear whether or not this was some sort of promotion, or if the guy driving it just likes fruit-shaped vehicles, but one this is for sure, anyone who happened to catch a peek of this sucker driving around probably felt a little brighter for the rest of their day! So, is it random? Absolutely. Is it hilarious? Totally. But maybe that’s the point. Sometimes it’s nice to have something weird and funny break up the usual routine.
