Watch the video to get all the details on the John Wayne: An American Experience exhibit

The family took me to the John Wayne: An American Experience exhibit for my birthday last year and I can honestly say it was the best gift ever! I got to celebrate my 50th Birthday with the Duke! Ever since I was a little kid I've always looked up to John Wayne and loved watching all his movies. I spent most of my childhood reenacting all his roles and westerns. He was and will always be my hero. He's a lot more than an actor to me, The Duke is a moral compass and role model. He's someone to admire and emulate.

It was an incredible and unforgettable day getting to see all this up close and personal. The gallery below isn't even close to half of what you'll see there. With 10,000 square feet and several rooms, the exhibit has everything from John Wayne's early childhood to his final days. It was surreal to actually see in person several of the costumes, wardrobe, and props that John Wayne used in his films and throughout his career.

Along with all the great displays throughout the exhibit, there are quotes from the Duke, interactive video and audio sections, and most, if not all of the walls are covered in photo murals and picture collages. The entire exhibit is really impressive, and I can't wait to go back and see it all again. Take a look at some of the things you'll see at the John Wayne: An American Experience below. The gallery doesn't include even half of the pictures I took or things you'll see there, just some of my favorites from the exhibit.

We all know Guy Fieri is the self-proclaimed Mayor of Flavortown, and as such, we generally trust his discerning palate to guide us to the best food any place has to offer. At least the places he tends to go often offer up some really good eats, and in looking at this list, having eaten at most of these places a handful of times, he's not wrong. Here are the Oklahoma original restaurants that have been featured on Triple-D.
