Jake Worthington From ‘The Voice’ Is Coming To Wichita Falls
Fans of NBC's 'The Voice' will want to make plans to be at the Iron Horse Pub this Friday night. Jake Worthington, the runner-from season 6 of the show will be bringing his voice from your TV to the stage in Wichita Falls.
Jake got his chance on 'The Voice' after singing the Keith Whitley classic 'Don't Close Your Eyes' in his blind audition. His acoustic performance was enough to make every judge but Usher hit their 'I want you' button. After a little argument between the 3, Blake Shelton beat out Shakira and Adam Lavine to be Jake's coach on the show.
Throughout the season, Jake wowed viewers with some great performances of some of their favorite country songs. He made it all the way to the very end, but fell short to Josh Kaufman in the final votes.
Since the show, Jake joined other finalist on 'The Voice National Tour' and has played in some of the biggest venues all over the country. This Friday night, you can catch him in a much more intimate environment at the Iron Horse Pub. Luke Robinson will open the night at 9pm. Advance tickets and table reservations are available now at the Iron Horse Pub.
