Get your kiddos ready for a fun night of halloween treats! For more than two decades, families across Wichita Falls have marked their calendars for one of the city’s most anticipated fall gatherings. I'm talking about Halloween in the Park. This year, the celebration is coming back to its roots.

On Saturday, October 18, from 5 to 8 p.m., the City of Wichita Falls will host its annual Halloween in the Park event at the Lucy Park Pavilion. After nearly seven years at the Wichita Falls Sports Complex, the move marks a return to a familiar and much-loved setting.

For more than 22 years, Wichita Falls residents have gathered to celebrate the holiday in a way that’s equal parts spooky and community-spirited.

With its return to Lucy Park, organizers hope the event will recapture some of the nostalgic charm that made it a fall favorite in the first place.
