Disgraced Rio Olympian Ryan Lochte's 'Dancing with the Stars' premiere hit a snag when protesters stormed the stage after Lochte's first dance on the premiere episode.

After performing a dance with his partner Cheryl Burke, Lochte and Burke were receiving their critique from judge Carrie Ann Inaba when something happened off camera that took the attention of those on-hand. To the home audience, all they saw was the camera remain on Inaba while the crowd booed in response to what was going on. The camera then cut back to a visually disturbed Lochte and Burke, then cut to commercial. After the break, host Tom Bergeron thanked the show's security for their quick response to the situation, and the show continued.

Heavy.com reports that the protesters accused Lochte of endangering America by fabricating the his robbery story in Rio. The protesters were taken away by police and some women from the audience were escorted out for leading chants against Lochte. Lochte told 'Good Morning America' that he's hoping America can forgive him for his actions in Rio and he hopes to rebuild his image.
