Texas Attorney Accidentally Left Cat Filter on Zoom Court Case

We're several months into Zoom meetings and we still have people who have no idea how to use them.

Over in Brewster County, Texas a judge and two attorneys were meeting in a virtual courtroom. 394th Judicial District Court was meeting with attorney Rod Ponton who logged in with a cat filter on his face. I really wish that no one let him know and he just did the whole case as a cat.

Judge Roy Ferguson warns Ponton, saying "I believe you have a filter turned on in the video settings." Ponton responds saying he's aware and says, "I'm here live, I'm not a cat." Judge Ferguson shared the zoom meeting on his Twitter and said," If a child used your computer, before you join a virtual hearing check the Zoom Video Options to be sure filters are off. This kitten just made a formal announcement on a case in the 394th."

He would also say, "These fun moments are a by-product of the legal profession's dedication to ensuring that the justice system continues to function in these tough times. Everyone involved handled it with dignity, and the filtered lawyer showed incredible grace. True professionalism all around!"

Hopefully the cat attorney Ponton won his case. If not, he's never going to live this down. Losing the case and looking like a kitty cat in court that day. If the other guy lost, you lost to a guy that showed up as a cat.
