Texas YouTuber Survives 85-Foot Plunge from Motorized Paraglider

An 18-year-old YouTuber is recovering after surviving what could have been a fatal fall from a motorized paraglider in Texas. The crash happened when the craft plummeted roughly 85 feet to the ground, leaving the young pilot with neck and back injuries. Let's break down the footage.

As the video opens, the young man is flying along, enjoying his paraglider. He seems genuinely excited that he has been able to get it the the speed of forty-eight miles per hour. Suddenly, something breaks and sends the aircraft into a spin as the man frantically tries to repair it.

He is not able to get it fixed in time, and the vehicle smashes into the ground with a sickening thud. According to the caption on the video, he sustained neck and back injuries.

As of now, the YouTuber is expected to make a full recovery, though it remains unclear if he plans to return to the skies once healed. In the meantime, the Federal Aviation Administration is working with local authorities to determine the cause of the accident.
