It's the best time of the year to be a kid, free candy.

The folks over at Influenster took a look at Halloween candy sales and determined what people are buying up the month of October. At my house, I give out full-size candy bars. Why? One rule I always followed growing up, never mess with the house that gave you full-size candy on Halloween.

Shockingly for Texas, the candy is not a chocolate of any kind. In fact, it's the candy we usually only see around Halloween time. That would be candy corn. I am always astounded by this candy. I enjoy it, but after five pieces I have had my fill of candy corn for the year.

Up north in Oklahoma, they're handing out some decent candy. Turns out most Oklahomans pass out bags of M&M's. I can get behind that. As long as you're not the house that hands out toothbrushes and pamphlets on how Halloween worships the devil. All your candy is good in my book.
