Hey, would you look at that! We got ourselves some brand new double yellow lines on Ohio Avenue in Downtown Wichita Falls.

As someone who drives down this street daily, it's a really welcome upgrade. Ever since the new Delta Marriott Hotel was built downtown, we have a lot of folks driving around down there that are not from here, so any extra road markings really help. I've literally  seen people driving on the wrong side of the street because they thought it was a one-way road

Fresh Double Yellow Lines Brighten Ohio Avenue, Wichita Falls

City crews completed the repainting project earlier this week, refreshing lines that had faded after years of wear from traffic and weather. While the improvement might seem minor, for many locals like myself, it’s a welcome sight. Cars drive extremely slowly down that street because they aren't sure what to do, and man, if you are late for work and behind a confused driver on this road, it can take forever just to go four blocks.
